Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Several years ago we had some extreme sicknesses in our family. I just couldn't seem to get deliverance.  As I was praying God gave me a revelation about Roman 10:17 telling me that faith comes by hearting the Word of God.  I still had four girls at home so I took all their bibles and underlined the scriptures I have listed here. I underlined Romans 3:23 and then say go to Galatians 3:13-14 then to Galatians 3:29 and so on. Each child read her scriptures and discussed its meaning and then on to the next until we had read and discussed the meaning of each scripture; it usually took 20 to 30 minutes.  We did this every other evening and within two weeks we began to see miracles of healing take place in our family. God had shown us that faith really comes by reading, studying and discussing (Meditating) on His Word.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)  17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Healing Scriptures – to read meditate on – and they will become a reality in your life.

We do not deserve anything that God give us, we all have failed and fallen short!

Romans 3:23 (NKJV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Because of Christ we are promised the blessing of Abraham.

Galatians 3:13-14 (NKJV)
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:29 (NKJV)
29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Since we are eligible to receive the blessing of Abraham that is great but there is much more, through Jesus we have obtained a better covenant (contract) that has better promises!!!

Hebrews 8:6 (NKJV)
6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

If this Daughter of Abraham ought to be loosed, since you have a better covenant and better promises shouldn’t you also be loosed?

Luke 13:11-16 (NKJV)
11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.
12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity."
13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, "There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day."
15 The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?
16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound--think of it--for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?"

Look at the anointing the Father gave to Jesus to carry out his promises!!

Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

And Jesus never changes, what he did when he walked to earth He will also do Now!!!

Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus not only paid for our salvation on the cross but out healing also; Note vs. 5 we are healed.

Isaiah 53:1-5 (NKJV)
1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Note vs. 24 you WERE healed;

1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.
Matthew 4:23-24 (NKJV)
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
Mark 11:23 (NKJV)
23 For assuredly, I say to you,
whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Faith is speaking of the promises of God as though it already was a reality.

Romans 4:17 (KJV)
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Psalms 107:20 (NKJV)
20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

If the Word says it I believe it so I will praise him for what he has already paid for!!  Sometimes it is a real sacrifice to praise him for what he will do but I will offer a sacrifice of praise to my Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 116:17 (NKJV)
17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.
Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)
15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV)
16 Rejoice always,
17 pray without ceasing,
18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
